EXPERIENCE

ShopperAI
  CTO  Since 2022

  • By integrating AI computer vision algorithms into video surveillance infrastructure,  ShopperAI uses deep learning for action recognition and captures customers’ shopping journeys, analyzes shoppers’ interaction with products, and studies the behavioral characteristics of customers and potential buyers. Data science tools are used to build BI dashboards to enable decision-makers to recognize products’ performance gaps and optimize sales and engagement with shoppers.
  • As a CTO I am Responsible for the technology, research, development, and product portfolio aspects. I Design and oversee strategic direction and technology roadmap of the company product set.
  • Lead and train the Computer Vision team, Data Science and Data analytics team, Annotation team and Full Stack development team.
  • Lead a team of 22 employees, 2 contractors and 2 advisors.
BTB – Be The Bank
  CTO & CIO 2020-2022

  • Drove growth and innovation for a leading P2P lending-investment platform. I was responsible for the technology, product portfolio, and information aspects.
  • Design and oversee strategic direction and the roadmap of the company product set.
  • Recruit, hire, and lead: R&D department, Data Science team, Information systems team, Product management team and Cyber Security team.
  • Served as the Head of Data Science and Led AI research and the roadmap to develop:
    • an AI/ML-based underwriting system that analyzes SMEs’ profiles and activity for intelligent credit ranking and decision support in granting loans. This credit ranking system was the finalist in the prestigious Banking Tech Awards conference in the categories “Best use of AI” and “Best use of Data.”
    • an award-winning (Banking Tech Awards Winner) system optimization engine that distributes investors’ capital to many loans.
